Do some of your holiday shopping this Saturday night at Ten Thousand Villages! Suggest it to your friends as well! Customers who purchase goods at Ten Thousand Villages — a non-profit, fair trade organization located at 915 King St. in Old Town, Alexandria — are actually “giving twice.” Not only will you find unique handmade items for your loved ones, but you will help provide much-needed income to Third World artisans.

On December 5th, from 6pm - 8pm the store will donate 20 percent of your purchase price to Good Shepherd Housing and Family Services.

If you absolutely cannot attend, but still want to help out, you can phone in your order and pay by credit card. Your purchase will be credited to the GSH event. You will need to give the store the 7-digit product number for each item (found at tenthousandvillages.com).
