And it came from Taiwan
We received the above books -- 'The Birds and My Life' and 'The Noble Wilds' by the Supreme Master Ching Hai -- as a gift of gratitude for our service to community.
It was completely unexpected and, I have to admit, we were all a bit perplexed at first. But, as the books continued to roll in, we only had to sit back and enjoy. I enjoyed many moments during my lunch breaks, relaxing and leafing through the colorful pages. Inside the books you find a delightful array of photographs chronicling the Master's walks with and thoughts on her favorite wild life. I had never knew anything about the "nobility quotient" and the intimate details of geese but I feel blessed to be so instructed.
It was a gracious gift and we are very thankful for the sentiment. I am especially happy to hear that our reputation has spread globally due to, I hope, this blog you're reading right now. Sweet!
